Another Fake Hate Crime Exposed As Leftists Grow Desperate To Stop President Trump

Leftists have cried about a supposed surge in hate crimes following the election of President Donald Trump. They have used instances from across the country as anecdotal evidence that Trump has emboldened white racists and hatemongers. There is only one problem: These hate crimes usually turn out to be hoaxes being committed by leftists.

There was a rash of racist graffiti on the campus of Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI that put the school into a panic last year. It was assumed that the graffiti was left by white racists exuberant over Trump’s rise to power, but instead it turned out to be a complete fabrication. Authorities now think the perpetrator was an African-American male.

Eddie Curlan, 29, is a former Eastern Michigan student who allegedly spray-painted KKK and the n-word throughout campus. After an extensive investigation by law enforcement that involved reviewing over 1,200 hours of video evidence from over 100 campus cameras as well as video captured by local businesses, police believe they have identified Curlan as the culprit.

Curlan is already incarcerated and serving a sentence of 1 to 5 years for receiving stolen property. Eastern Michigan students and faculty are breathing a sigh of relief knowing that the perpetrator is no longer at large, and hopefully have learned a lesson moving forward about ‘hate crimes.’

“It’s really a shame that they inspired so much fear in people that they don’t know,” Tyler Rush said to FOX 2 Detroit. “It doesn’t matter race or gender. Everyone was a little afraid last year.”

As leftist Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel once said, “Never let a serious crisis go to waste.” And when the serious crises aren’t appearing fast enough, liberals seem to have no problem disingenuously promulgating them in order to instill fear and terror for their own purposes. As seen in Ypsilanti, the ends justify the means for the modern totalitarian left.
