After Brief Respite, Judge Napolitano Returns to FOX News with No Apologies

Judge Andrew Napolitano’s future as a FOX News analyst looked to be in serious jeopardy after he alleged that Trump was likely wiretapped by British intelligence. Just a week later, the pull-no-punches libertarian jurist is back on the network and offering no apologies regarding the work that facilitated his brief suspension.

As reported by the Liberty Conservative, Napolitano was given an indefinite leave of absence on Mar. 20 after the Trump Administration referenced his claims, sparking a national firestorm. Despite the controversy, Napolitano refused to back down nine days later during his return appearance on America’s Newsroom.

“The sources stand by it and the American public needs to know more about this rather than less because a lot of the government surveillance authorities will expire in the fall,” Napolitano said. “There will be a great debate about how much authority we want the government to have to surveil us and the more the American public knows about this the more informed their and Congress’ decisions will be.”

It remains to be seen what details will be revealed regarding the alleged wiretapping of Trump, but Napolitano is sticking to his story. With the recent WikiLeaks’ Vault 7 disclosures showing the incredibly sophisticated hacking capabilities of the CIA, Napolitano’s decision should come as a surprise to no one.
