The B*tch is Back: Milo Yiannopoulos to Make Return at Berkeley with “Free Speech Week”

Rumors of Milo’s demise have been greatly exaggerated. After a media hit job forced the controversial tech journalist to resign from his post at Breitbart, Yiannopoulos is officially back and more inflammatory than ever. He announced today that he will be hosting “Free Speech Week” at University of California-Berkeley.

“Free speech has never been more under threat in America — especially at the supposed home of the free speech movement,” Yiannopoulos said in a press release posted on his Facebook. “I will bring activists, writers, artists, politicians, YouTubers, veterans and drag queens from across the ideological spectrum to lecture, march, and party.”

He did not give a date for when his week of festivities will commence, but regardless of the specifics, there will assuredly be a serious amount of push-back from ANTIFA and other leftist agitators. When Milo attempted to give a speech earlier this year in Berkeley, the town was set in flames while police refused to do anything about to keep the peace. Milo is undeterred by the commotion; in fact, he is emboldened by it.

“We will stand united against the “progressive” Left,” Yiannopoulos said. “We will loudly reject the venomous hectoring and moral hypocrisy of social justice warriors. Free speech belongs to everyone — not just the spoilt brats of the academy.”

Berkeley has become ground zero for contentious clashes between the populist right and the socialist left in recent weeks. The most recent scuffle happened this past weekend when violence erupted during a Patriots’ Day rally, which was largely reported as a victory by the right. Another skirmish is expected to take place when conservative polemicist Ann Coulter heads to Berkeley on Apr. 27.

Milo will announce the details of a new campus tour in the days to come. He teased a “Cinco de Milo” event that will take place on May 5, but offered no other details about what to expect. When it comes to Milo and his wild unpredictable antics, onlookers can only be sure to expect the unexpected.

  1. Even if you don’t like him, you have to admit that Milo has an important purpose in the liberty movement. We need provocateurs like him to continue to battle the race-baiters and unhinged lunatics in our universities and help others become emboldened to express different opinions than the progressive status quo.

  2. Hope to see you in Berkeley, Milo. I will be very pregnant with my love child. Will have another one for you if you want. xoxoxo.
