Coming Soon! The Return of the Republicans!

Sometimes I don’t know whether to kick the Supreme Court or kiss it.  As America  seemingly turns to the left, albeit by judicial fiat,  the Right will have its revenge in 2016 via the legitimate voice of the people, the ballot box.  This is where real change happens.  A few black robed tyrants in narrow decisions on Obamacare and “Gay Marriage” may impose their  will on the American people for  a spell, but we the people still have the ultimate check on a court run amok and now have a rallying cry to overturn these political/judicial decisions.     Such revolutionary change to our fundamental values should never be made by the courts, instead the people through our representative government should resolve these controversial issues.  By giving conservatives a reason to mobilize and organize, Republicans will be in the driver seat and beat the Dems like a piñata with these flawed  Supreme Court decisions.  Congress can also nullify this Supreme court ruling by  defunding  any effort to enforce gay marriage and Obamacare.

I can only predict good things for all Republicans who stand for conservative values.  A sweeping mandate will be given to the GOP as the liberal elite  always pushes too far, especially on Obamacare and the marriage issue.    As healthcare costs go up for the working man, that pain in  the wallet will be felt at the ballot by Dems who already got hammered in the last go around in 2014.   With a huge plurality in Congress and control of the Executive branch, Roberts might even be able to be impeached and replaced in short order or Ginzburg may retire.  This is why it is incumbent that we have a constitution loving president like Rand Paul   who will properly vet Supreme Court nominees unlike the Bushes and Reagan.

Americans are instinctively conservative going back to our immigrant/pioneer roots.  If you were a weak minded liberal, you got weeded out of the gene pool.  We value our faith and natural law.  If you put a naked man and a naked woman in a room together, it is obvious that they fit together for the procreation of the species.  That is not at all the case if you put a man and a man together.  That is called natural  law and it is that kind of common sense that our Constitution was founded upon and is very hard to argue against unless you were indoctrinated in one of our “universities of political correctness.”

A man plus  a woman can produce a child which produces a family.  Many families produce communities and many communities produce a nation.   If the first building block is not there, society fails and we are seeing this already  in our fatally low fertility rates. Yes the cultural Marxist have a stranglehold on the culture and are trying hard to commit cultural suicide in order to usher in their utopian replacement.  But when pushed hard, patriotic Americans will push back in droves and reject the foolishness being shoved down  our throats if there is someone out there who can lead them out of this mess.

Case for Traditional Marriage video link

Here is the problem for those of us who believe in liberty. Number one, this was not a ruling in favor of equality, but against states rights and religious freedom.  Conservatives have made it clear that we are not anti-gay, just opposed to the redefinition of marriage because it will have  negative societal consequences.  The issue of same-sex “marriage” is one that will lessen liberty throughout our land.  It will be used to vilify Americans who are unwilling to bow down to the new orthodoxy.  Churches and faith-based business will need to prepare for lawsuits and government investigations.  Pastors who refuse to perform gay marriages and preach from the Bible should prepare for hate crime charges.  All dissent will be silenced by the government and activists as has already happened in Canada and Britain when they affirmed gay marriage.  Are you getting the picture?

I keep hearing that “permitting same-sex couples access to the designation of marriage will not deprive anyone of any rights.”  This is simply not the case.  Folks who talk about the benefits of the traditional family or hold to Judeo-Christian values are already accused of being homophobic by the “thought police. “Your free speech will be gagged.  Where ever gay “marriage” has been promoted , mandatory homosexual curriculum has been introduced in the schools.  Your tax dollars and businesses are forced to fund homosexual relationships.  And now if you question same-sex marriage you could face discipline, termination of employment or even prosecution.

In his dissent, Justice Alito said, “those who cling to old beliefs will be able to whisper their thoughts in the recesses of their homes, but if they repeat those views in public, they will risk being labeled as bigots and treated as such by governments, employers, and schools.”

The court has compared the opposition to gay marriage to prohibitions against  interracial marriage which is a patently false analogy.     Men and women from different races are the same, but the genders are distinctly different.  It is a biological fact.  These unique differences have been shown by studies to have long-term benefits to children that cannot be duplicated by same-sex couples.  Those intent on redefining marriage are saying that they are wiser than all the greatest Jewish and Christian thinkers who ever lived.

What we need to return our nation to its conservative roots is a political champion of the people.  Someone like a John the Baptist,  a humble man  who was unafraid to challenge the  establishment of the Pharisees.  If you recall the story, John, the greatest of the prophets,  was calling the Jews to repent not just Gentiles.   This is not the typical way to win friends and influence people by challenging the cultural elites of your day.  John  delivered an urgent message to those who would listen.   Despite his confrontational tone his message resonated with the people of Israel and almost everyone came out and was baptized and confessed their sins, including an adulteress King Herod,  whose repentance obviously never completely took hold.   John was a sacrificial hero of the Bible who feared God and no one else.

We have a hero today who is willing to spar with the Washington establishment in Rand Paul.    Only Rand Paul ; has called for scrapping the tax code and getting the IRS out of our life;  is willing to filibuster his own party to ensure that our rights are not trampled upon by the government; calls for ending the reign of career politicians by passing term limits; calls for Repealing ALL of Obamacare; and  believes we need a reawakening to cure us from our spiritual crisis.

There is a big difference between recognizing the civil rights of individuals to live immorally (that is a personal matter between a man and his God) and forcing society as a whole to grant societal acceptance and privileges to the immoral act.  Quoting Rand Paul:  “The government should not prevent people from making contracts but that does not mean that the government must confer a special imprimatur upon a new definition of marriage.”

Bottom line? Will Americans  allow themselves to be slowly marginalized just for holding to a biblical world view by our cultural elites?  I believe  the 2016 elections will answer that question with  an emphatic NO! and Rand will lead that charge.

Mr. Hannosh is an Army Veteran, Former School Board President, History/Biology Teacher, Real Estate Agent, Former Candidate for Congress in California's 8th district, Pat Buchanan, Ron and Rand Paul supporter and activist seeking to put Americans first, not the establishment. Mr. Hannosh is married and has a daughter who he hopes will inherit an America that loves peace, liberty and freedom.

  1. Seems to be Republicans were handed an overwhelming mandate by the voters in 2014 and they turned around and handed Obama everything he has asked for on a silver platter. What makes is there to convince me they will go from being closet progressives since 2014 to Constitutional Conservatives in 2016? Here is the problem, the Dems tell the truth about their intentions for our country’s future, while the Republicans lie through their teeth to get elected and then pursue the same agenda as the Dems. Sorry, not buying the same old song and dance anymore.

    • Good points Hutch, the big difference is that they will control both the Executive and the Legislative Branch and can then have their way with the Judicial. Without a principled Republican in the White House then all bets are off and you will continue to have the march through the institutions of the cultural marxists as a rino appoints more squishes to the Supremes.

  2. What about voter fraud? Even when it’s discovered they never adjust the tally or dig deeper to find out how many false votes there really were. What about voter ID requirements?
