Globalists Win: NATO Pledges To Support Trump’s Troop Surge In Afghanistan

On the campaign trail last year, Donald Trump frequently talked about the evils of the Iraq war and the excesses of American foreign intervention. In typical fashion, Trump reversed this position as soon as he became president. Trump is now copying troop surge policies that failed spectacularly during the Obama administration, and hopes that the North American Treaty Organization (NATO) will assist him on his fool’s errand.

“We will ask our NATO allies and global partners to support our new strategy, with additional troops and funding increases in line with our own. We are confident they will,” Trump said.

NATO is an organization known to drive foreign military interventions throughout the world, and were influential in ousting dictator Muammar Gaddafi from power in Libya. As expected, they have no problem helping Trump lubricate the global war machine.

“NATO remains fully committed to Afghanistan and I am looking forward to discussing the way ahead with Secretary Mattis and our Allies and international partners,” NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in a release.

The globalists currently in charge of Britain and Germany are also happy to help the United States spread its empire abroad.

“In my call with Secretary Mattis yesterday we agreed that despite the challenges, we have to stay the course in Afghanistan to help build up its fragile democracy and reduce the terrorist threat to the West,” Britain Defence Secretary Michael Fallon said.

“Our continued commitment is necessary on the path to stabilizing the country,” a German government spokeswoman said.

Although specific figures have not been released, Trump is expected to commit around 4,000 additional troops to join the 8,400 that are currently deployed in the country. Afghanistan is currently the longest war in American history, and the globalists running NATO are obviously very pleased that Trump continues the status quo that he was elected as a referendum against.
