Conspiracy theorist and social media icon Mike Cernovich has been a lightning rod of controversy. His events have been attacked by ANTIFA and similar groups with right-wingers being attacked and left-wingers being hauled off in handcuffs.
Cernovich is hosting another Night for Freedom party event to commemorate the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC). Stefan Molyneux and other special guests are expected to join him. The location is currently being hidden from the public, but that hasn’t stopped ANTIFA from pledging resistance.
News2Share caught up with Cernovich at CPAC in National Harbor, Maryland to ask him about how he was preparing for ANTIFA planning yet again to storm his party.
“My message to ANTIFA would be that I encourage you to peacefully protest anything that I ever do,” Cernovich said. “I encourage you to hold your signs and call your names.”
While Cernovich has no problem with ANTIFA protesting his event, he does have a serious problem with violence. He claims that other leftists who assaulted Trump supporters at his events are being prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and that copycats would receive the same treatment.
“I don’t really care if you lie about what I say in order to be angry with me. Whatever. You have your right to not like me… I’ve never claimed to be Mr. Congeniality. That said, if you do break the law and act with violence, you will go to jail,” Cernovich said.
Cernovich says he will give a hot cocoa to peaceful ANTIFA protesters out in the cold. He disagrees vehemently with being called a fascist by his leftist opponents though, and says that his actions demonstrates that he truly cares about freedom for all.
“If you hold an event, I’m not going to go your event with 50 people and hit somebody outside of your event. Never would I do that. I don’t get violent with people,” Cernovich said.
Cernovich takes some blame for talking trash and making off-color jokes in the past that were misconstrued, and will consider being more responsible moving forward.
“If we’re fascists, why is it that the violence is outside of the event with the ANTIFA people?” Cernovich asked.
Cernovich asks right-wing people to maintain respectability and be friendly in the face of possible ANTIFA violence. Inside the event, Cernovich assures that no funny business will be tolerated. Attendance is by invite only for the exclusive affair.
No matter what this guy does and how polite he is, it will still be a situation! The Antifa must have a situation because they are crazy animals and must be beaten down with big clubs so other people can have a point of view and live!
