Virginia Man Sues Republican Party Over ObamaCare Repeal Failure

A disappointed Republican donor in Virginia has filed a lawsuit against the national and state Republican Parties for failing to repeal ObamaCare, according to The Hill. The retired attorney, Bob Heghmann, filed the suit in U.S. District Court on Thursday, alleging that the GOP raised millions of dollars in donations despite having knowledge that the party would not be able to repeal ObamaCare. In the suit, he claimed the Republican Party “has been engaged in a pattern of racketeering which involves massive fraud perpetrated on Republican voters and contributors as well as some Independents and Democrats.” Keep Reading

Words I would use to describe the Republican National Convention held in Cleveland this past week: magical, historical, energetic, patriotic, peaceful. I was literally buzzing with excitement after the first night of the convention. Talk about an impactful experience — and it was only day one! Thousands of patriotic Americans converged on Cleveland to show their support for the Republican nominee. Between the young kids handing out free water to police on the streets, to the jovial laughs ringing through the convention halls, the air was light and the energy positive. Trump Condemns Globalism In Incredible Convention Speech

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump assailed globalism in his 2016 convention speech, where he aligned himself with the American people over the political elites. “Remember: all of the people telling you that you can’t have the country you want, are the same people telling you that I wouldn’t be standing here tonight,” Trump declared. “No longer can we rely on those elites in media, and politics, who will say anything to keep a rigged system in place.” During the speech, Trump condemned the regime change wars that had been promoted by the political elites, echoing former Rep.
