Rep. Massie Blasts Reporter That Demanded To Know His Private Vaccination Status

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) blasted a reporter after the reporter demanded to know his private vaccination status during a press conference.

During a press conference hosted by Rep. Marjorie Greene (R-GA) on the Fire Fauci Act, which Massie is co-sponsoring, a reporter requested that Massie reveal his vaccination status.

“Well, first of all, it’s none of your business, but I’m going to tell you,” Massie said. “I’m not vaccinated.”

Massie added that he would not get a vaccination until there was data that showed past infections do not confer immunity, given that past infections confer immunity for most viral diseases.

“Until there’s some science — by the way, I have a master’s of science degree from MIT,” Massie told the reporter.

“I’m not a virologist, but I can read data. Everybody just needs to read, and don’t put your head in the sand. Look at the data – I’m not going to get the vaccine until there’s data that shows that it will improve upon the immunity that’s been conferred to me as a result of a natural infection that I had.”

Massie then blasted Dr Anthony Fauci, the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).

“One of the biggest scandals during this whole pandemic is the coverup that’s been committed by Dr. Fauci and the [Center for Disease Control] about the effectiveness of immunity that’s conferred after a natural infection, after you’ve recovered from COVID, they’ve completely ignored that,” Massie added.

Rep. Massie holds strongly libertarian views, which have driven his consistent opposition to lockdowns and vaccine mandates.
