Several top aides to former White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney have been shifted out of the West Wing following the ascension of new White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. Many believed Meadows would serve as a continuation of Mulvaney’s tenure, given the close relationship between the two men as co-founders of the powerful House Freedom Caucus, which represents fiscally conservative and libertarian-leaning members of Congress.
