Brexit leader and right-libertarian firebrand Nigel Farage is said to be a ‘person of interest’ in the ongoing FBI Russia investigation, according to The Guardian, due to his association with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, U.S. President Donald Trump and controversial political strategist Roger Stone. Farage’s spokesman responded to the report by saying it was “verging on the hysterical” and that “Nigel has never been to Russia, let alone worked with their authorities.” Farage himself went on to describe it as “utter and total hysterical nonsense” and “fake news”.
