The Virginia Senate Election of 2019 saw Democrats taking control over both chambers of the Virginia Legislature for the first time since 1994 and ultimately controlling the state government by flipping both the House and Senate. Ralph Northam’s Contempt For Rural Virginians Will Doom His Gubernatorial Chances

The 2017 Virginia Gubernatorial Election has brought upon the Commonwealth a sort of an anti-2016 atmosphere. Two level-headed candidates are, for the most part, cordial to each other as they spar on the debate stage. Ralph Northam, the Democratic nominee is consistently polling just ahead or within the margin of error of four to six points. Virginia Man Sues Republican Party Over ObamaCare Repeal Failure

A disappointed Republican donor in Virginia has filed a lawsuit against the national and state Republican Parties for failing to repeal ObamaCare, according to The Hill. The retired attorney, Bob Heghmann, filed the suit in U.S. District Court on Thursday, alleging that the GOP raised millions of dollars in donations despite having knowledge that the party would not be able to repeal ObamaCare. In the suit, he claimed the Republican Party “has been engaged in a pattern of racketeering which involves massive fraud perpetrated on Republican voters and contributors as well as some Independents and Democrats.” Keep Reading
