Lara Witt Would Be a Terrible First Date

Lara Witt is the managing editor of Wear Your Voice and despite being a solid seven and a half on the unofficial 1-10 scale of female hotness, she’s a waste of natural talent. She’s not a bad writer but she embodies the famous Reagan quote about how liberals aren’t ignorant, they just know so much that isn’t true. A friend recently made me aware of an article she wrote for WYV called, “10 Things Every Intersectional Feminist Should Ask on a First Date.” My friend asked me to read it and write a response to it. Here goes. First, intersectionality… Keep Reading

Contemporary Feminism: A Self-Contradiction

The entire Harvey Weinstein/Hollywood sex scandal is but the most recent glimpse into the Feminist Brain. And it is not pretty. To explore the Feminist Mind is the equivalent of being inside of Space Mountain while blindfolded, for it is a place racked with all of the turmoil—all of the madness—that one would expect to find in an oasis of irrationality. To put it succinctly, the Feminist Mind is ridden with incoherence. The Feminist’s insistence that women are entitled to treatment equal to that to which men are entitled rests upon the belief that women are every bit as strong… Keep Reading

Buzzfeed’s Privilege Checklist Is Pointless Exercise In Stupidity

I’ve visited Buzzfeed three times. The first time was to take a silly little test to find out which Batman villain I am (turned out to be Bane, no surprises there) and the second was to read a piece called “43 Inconceivable Facts About “The Princess Bride” You Probably Never Knew.” These first two encounters were innocent and banal but they were also intended to amuse me, which they did to a slight degree. My third visit to Buzzfeed, however, was amusing but not deliberately so. The banality of this content wasn’t premeditated, it wasn’t part of the act. No,… Keep Reading

The Napoleonic Touch

Some observers have smugly claimed that it is impossible to have a reactionary movement. They say it would be like piecing a ruined cobweb back together or trying to set Humpty Dumpty back on his wall. For them, it is one item on a long list of impossibilities. If one supposes that reactionaries want to return to some glittering past in every particular and detail, then the critics are right; it cannot be done. Fortunately, we are not focused on bringing back the poke bonnet or illuminated manuscripts; that is to say, nobody is trying to revive the little irrelevancies… Keep Reading

Federal Agency Promotes Multiple Genders While Only Offering Male or Female Restrooms

At a recent visit to the Department of Education (DOE), I saw a “Genderbread Person” poster prominently displayed in the main lobby. The poster states that “gender isn’t binary.” It also states, “It’s okay if you’re hungry for more. In fact, that’s the idea.” I decided to do some further investigating. I looked around the building to see all of the restrooms for the multiple genders. Surprise, surprise! The restrooms in the DOE are marked either “Men” or “Women”. The DOE claims they have reached the “educated” position that gender isn’t binary. Nonetheless, they give their employees a binary choice… Keep Reading
