Trump: Anti-Lockdown Protesters Are “Very Good People”, MI Governor Should “Make A Deal”
President Donald Trump has praised the anti-lockdown protesters in Lansing, Michigan and urged Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) to “make a deal” with them and partially reopen Michigan. In a Friday tweet, Trump said the unrelentingly pro-lockdown Governor should “give a little” to the demonstrators. “The Governor of Michigan should give a little, and put out the fire,” Trump wrote. “These are very good people, but they are angry.
