Ted Cruz made a decision today which is sure to puzzle many conservatives and inflame liberty activists across the country, missing the vote on Senator Rand Paul’s Audit The Fed bill. Cruz is reported to be campaigning in New Hampshire today, opting to take his message to the voters in that state rather than vote on the Audit The Fed legislation. This follows a longstanding pattern of the Senator missing votes, though this one may prove to be more costly than any before it, as it threatens to undermine Cruz’s attempts to attract liberty minded supporters. This, in no way, is surprising. Everyone who supports Ted Cruz tries to tell me he is the most constutitional minded conservative. HOGWASH. Rand Paul is clearly the best candidate on just about every front. Why the hell can’t America wake up?
Rand simply has not convinced enough people that hes the best choice its as simple as that its his job to sell his platform and positions. Not saying they arent good he just doesnt convince the masses and thats what you have to do to win not have all your loyal follows castigate the rest as stupid or uninformed.. Rand Paul is so awesome that he managed to throw away his credibility by sucking up to the GOP leadership in Sen McConnell. but what did he get for it? Anything?
Cruz decided to stand on principle, and that created enemies in the US Senate when Cruz pushed for defunding votes and to actually not give Obama a pass on the debt ceiling etc. Sen Rand Paul criticized NOT the leadership for how they mistreated Cruz, but Cruz for telling it like it is, rocking the boat, and not being a ‘team player’.
That’s why Rand wont be at the debate and Sen Cruz is the leading constitutional conservative candidate right now. Rand chose to be co-opted to ‘get along’. Cruz chose to stick to his guns.

I am from Kentucky. I am proud of TWO GROWN MEN being civil to each other meanwhile they don’t always have the same views and have to face to face lots and share the same location of offices. Being uncivil will not bring the person with different views to table wanting to work with you.. Its part of grow up.. Uncivil with the other people will go to other people to work with instead.. Ted Cruz will have a hard time to get across the party unless he stops being uncivil. Ted Cruz is an adult, not a teenager!!

Later in years, Ted blasphemy against John Boehner for his position with working with Harry Reid.. John Boehner always been as RINO to begin with for decades.. What did Ted gained from that?? NOPE…I d rather not to vote for two- faced Cruz!! Possibility a Bush clone.. ( even worked for Bush Administration) And will not vote for anyone, but Rand Paul.

Cruz is quite civil to others. He’s not attacked anyone else in the personal way that say Trump has, and he hasn’t gotten petty like even Rand did with his ‘canadian’ remarks.
But Cruz didnt bend over like McConnell wants the GOP Senators to do.
If your trying to play title for tat on liberty issues between Cruz and Paul you’re going to have a hard time winning that. Cruz has really turned against liberty with TPP and the Patriot Act. Missing the vote on the Fed and his neocon warmongering of late has shown me that he intends to win the nomination without the liberty groups and will simply do nothing about their concerns any longer as President or Senator.
You are entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts.
Cruz voted against TPA and the TPP has not come up yet, and Cruz supported the USA Freedom Act and has gotten attacked from the neo-cons and anti-civil-liberties guys like Trump over it. It’s not ‘warmongering’ to tell the truth about ISIS, they are at war with us and we cant be like Obama and pretend its not a threat. Cruz for one has said we dont have a dog in the Syrian civil war fight, so he’s not one to over-intervene.
You can have another horse in the race, but you dont build up Rand by attacking Cruz unfairly. Good luck.

TPA came up for a vote. Cruz voted against it on the final vote, and he did so because of the side deals and provisions that were in it. That’s reasonable, you base your vote on the bill itself. TPP has not come up for a vote yet.
I’ll remember you Travis when Cruz votes for TPP touting how it really is free market trade after some further consideration. Rubio will vote for it too of course. This is how these things work. Cruz stakes out a strong position then has to be bargained off of it. It is how attorneys look at the world.

How can Cruz to be a debt cutter while he has the proposals eager to go to war at the same time. The THIRD LARGEST DEBT after Medicare and Social Security is Pentagon!! Read Article 1 under the convention of U.S Constitution Section 8 Clause 10 to 12.- it states to raise and support armies, but NO appropriations of money to use no longer than TWO years.
