Acclaimed journalist Seymour Hersh, once a leftist favorite for his coverage of the Vietnam War, became a pariah of the liberal media during the Obama presidency for actually holding the chosen one accountable. In the age of Trump, Hersh is exposing deep state subversion and is not afraid to dish the uncensored dirt on prominent government officials.
“You know the trouble with all of those guys is that the only way they’re going to make it to a [corporate] board or two… and get some fat cat contracts is if Hillary stayed in. With Trump, they’re gone, they’re done, they’re going to live on their pension, they’re not going to make it. And I gotta tell you guys, they don’t want to live on their pension, they want to be on boards,” Hersh said in a conversation with an unnamed figure.
Hersh, a Pulitzer Prize winner, claims to have inside sources that are feeding him relevant information regarding the administration and its subversive elements. Although not a Trump supporter, he can see the tremendous friction that has developed between the intelligence community and this unorthodox president.
“I have somebody on the inside who will go and read a file for me,” Hersh said. “This person is unbelievably accurate and careful, he’s a very high-level guy… it was an American disinformation and f-cking the f-cking President. At one point when they, they even started telling the press, they were back briefing the press, the head of the NSA was going and telling the press–f-cking c-cksucker Rogers–was telling the press that we even know who in the GRU, the Russian Military Intelligence Service, who leaked it. I mean, all bullsh-t.”
Never one to mince words, Hersh finished his pejorative-laden screed by saying that “Trump’s not wrong to think they all f-cking lie about him.” Working at the New York Times for many years gives Hersh credibility when he accuses the intelligence community and mainstream media of deliberately ambushing Trump’s presidency.
In the audio, Hersh also talked candidly about Seth Rich. Rich, a Bernie Sanders supporter, was a federal employee who was believed to have leaked DNC emails to Wikileaks. He was shot dead near his apartment shortly after, fueling conspiracy theories that he was assassinated. Hersh indicated that Rich had talked to Wikileaks but didn’t believe he was murdered.
