Manafort Wiretapping Revelations Vindicate Trump, Collapse Russian Conspiracy Theories

President Donald Trump was ridiculed mercilessly by the mainstream media after he declared that he was wiretapped by his predecessor in the lead-up to his epic electoral showdown with Hillary Clinton last year.

“Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my “wires tapped” in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!” Trump exclaimed on Twitter back on Mar. 4, setting off a firestorm of predictable liberal outrage over the supposed recklessness of the young President.

As usual, it is the lying mainstream media left with egg on their face after news broke this week that the FBI under Obama did in fact wiretap former campaign manager Paul Manafort. This came over a period when Manafort was in regular communication with Trump, meaning that Trump’s communications were in fact wiretapped by federal investigators as he claimed.

Sources told CNN the following: “A secret order authorized by the court that handles the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) began after Manafort became the subject of an FBI investigation that began in 2014. It centered on work done by a group of Washington consulting firms for Ukraine’s former ruling party.”

CNN even admitted plainly in their report that “government snooping continued into early this year, including a period when Manafort was known to talk to President Donald Trump.” These investigations were initially “discontinued at some point last year for lack of evidence” but then restarted conveniently after the FBI obtained a FISA warrant as the presidential race was heating up last year and continued into early 2017.

These revelations also drive a stake through the heart of Russian conspiracies that desperate Democrats and ‘Never Trump’ Republicans have been floating to undermine last year’s election results. While they have fantasized about Putin and Russian hackers influencing the election, they ended up being concerned about the wrong government. It was the Obama regime instead that was the rogue force jeopardizing the integrity of the election, but their clandestine schemes ultimately failed.
