Militant Anti Trump Group’s College Tour

An anti-Trump group demanding that Trump “fascism” be stopped now is seeking to swell their numbers by touring college campuses in search of recruits. “Refuse Fascism” has been touring campuses across the Northeast asserting that time is running out to stop Trump.

Despite comparing the Trump administration to “Nazi Germany,” the group has asserted that the administration had not yet “fully consolidated their regime.” But, as a flyer reads, “We do not have much time,” as it “might only take a single serious crisis—international or domestic—for this regime to drop the hammer.”

At a stop at Cornell University, a “Refuse Fascism” member stated that the group was “spreading the message all around the country,” and “the world,” with the purpose to “drive out the Trump/Pence regime” that is bent on creating “a fascist America.”

“Refuse Fascism” has called the administration “a catastrophic danger to all of humanity,” stating that it specifically targets “women,” “Muslims,” “Mexicans,” “LGBT people, immigrants, and refugees.” They also claim that the administration is a threat to “the climate, science, and truth itself.”

Back in February, “Refuse Fascism” was behind the riot at UCLA Berkeley over a scheduled speech by Milo Yiannopolous that resulted in fire-bombed cars, a generator set on fire, as well as assaults on counter-protesters and the citizens of the neighboring town of Berkeley.

The group, on their Facebook page, labeled the violent riots “righteous”, stating “that much more like this is needed.”

The group has received a $50,000 contribution from George Soros and has been endorsed by actors Rosie O’Donnell, Ed Asner, and Deborah Messing back in December to forcibly prevent the inauguration of Donald Trump.

Ron Capshaw is a Senior Contributor to The Liberty Conservative from Midlothian, Va. His work has appeared in National Review, The Weekly Standard, and the American Spectator.
