Today, President Donald Trump returned to speak at the Road to Majority conference. He first came and spoke at the conference as a business man and then as a candidate for the President of the United States. Today he returned to thank the Faith & Freedom Coalition for their support. He thanked the audience for knocking doors and making phone calls to help get him elected. He also thanked Dr. James Dobson for his early support.
Trump was well received by the conference attendees. He had great lines like “The family is the foundation of American Life” and “In America we don’t worship government, we worship God.” He received numerous standing ovations throughout the speech. Trump received standing ovations for mentioning Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch, leaving the Paris Accord, and for his fight for religious liberties. However, the largest applause was reserved for his comments about what he is doing to fight for the pro-life agenda.
President Trump mentioned the importance of increasing the pro-family majority in both the House and Senate. He said that if Republicans gave the nation the perfect health care plan, all the Democrats would still vote no. Trump said that the two vote margin in the Senate is not enough. He said we need to increase our majorities if we wish to continue to move this country in the right direction.
At the end of the speech, Trump promised to keep fighting for religious liberties of all Americans. He promised that he was going to Make America Great Again.
